No border will have a 1.5" design panel and taper to 1" at the buckle and tail areas.
Adding plain or crystal border will increase the total width to 2" and will have a 1.5" buckle/tail continuous from the main design panel.
Taper
Adding a taper will reduce the width from 1.5 inches to a 1 inch buckle. This can sometimes be more comfortable for smaller dogs or dogs with shorter necks. See our FAQ page for examples of this look!

Our collars are handcrafted from Beta Biothane, a synthetic coated webbing material that looks and feels like fine leather with the advantage of being waterproof, stink proof, stain proof, easy to clean and 100% vegan. It stays soft and flexible even in extreme freezing temperatures. The crystals we use are genuine high end European crystal for maximum sparkle. Traditional buckle collars feature 5 holes spaced 1/2 inch apart for a total of two adjustable inches in size.
